Home Cellars

Our Most Recent Cellar

This cellar was finished December 9th 2010

Fluted trim for a mahogany door that matches the racks. The wood has a light lacquer that brightens the accents of the grain.

The back wall has hand made drawers and nooks for large format bottles.

The cooling unit is remote and is not visible in the room.

The top racks are single deep and the bottom are double deep. The custom granite is rare and has unusually large splotches of color. The crown molding at the top of the racks is also used as an accent in the recessed ceiling. An island in the middle of the room holds 200 bottles and has the same granite.

All together a classy funtional room that holds 2600 bottles.

There are even small nooks for 375 ml bottles

Mahogany with Stain and Lacquer

This cellar is mahogany with stain and lacquer, making a very polished look. Do note that there are a variety of features like Diamond Bins, Individual Bottle racks and a Quarter Round for the end. These racks are also taller than most racks, a full 92.5 inches. The art at the end of the room is tile.

Vintage View with Custom Mahogany

We were recommended for this project by a real estate company.

Note the consistency of the trim and wood finish, we do have excellent Cellar Install Experts.

CHARMING AND EFFICIENT

Vintage View Racks are used for a large collection of French wine that is mostly Bordeaux. This Franco-phile won't have to tag his wine and we got 1400 bottles in a small space. Hansom light fixtures and a killer door top off this great room!

We did get a nice TESTIMONIAL FROM THIS CLIENT that goes like this:

"Joe Kelemen and Tom Miller helped us design and build a 1400 bottle cellar in our basement that is not only functional but beautiful. The racks store the wine with the labels displayed, which enhances the aesthetics. The room's insulation and refrigeration unit keep it at a constant 55 degree temperature. We were very pleased with their expertise and professionalism."

Jan Kennaugh and Chip Horne.

Our First Cellar

Home Cellars are a viable improvement to your home that can enhance your lifestyle and add value to your home. Wayne used the Vintage View Racks with the nickel finish. The walls are blonde wood to match cabinents in other areas of his home. A Whisperkool cooler controls the temperature to take care of 1100 wines. Wayne''s cellar has polished slate on the floor to cap off a hansome and functional wine room.

There are lights behind the wood strips. The shelves are intended as

a graveyard for consumed bottles .

Tech Center

This home was on the market and I did get a comment from the owner that "everbody loves the wine cellar". It did help him sell the house. He is using Wine Etc. for the cellar in his new home.

WE DO OFFER GREAT PRICES ON OUR DESIGNS

The following pictures are of the same cellar that is done in mahogany. Some of the racks were pre-made and some were custom by one of our contractors. We got this job after the home owmer was not pleased with the price of other bids.

Slim and Trim Lots of Detail

The next series of photos are of a new cellar in the Bonnie Brae neighborhood. It is the second cellar for this gentleman. He did say that having a wine cellar was a definite selling point of his previous house. By the way, his contractor is available to South Gaylord Wine Etc. Note the quality of his woodwork. He made the door himself!

Hansome Economy Room

These pictures are an example of a well built room that was a reasonable cost.

We used the "Vintage View" racks and a mahogany diamond bin with a service area. The door and molding are mahogany for a consistent and charming look.
